Techfind Consulting Limited respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we handle when you visit and interact with our website — and the choices and rights you have.

Who we are

What this policy covers

This policy covers only the public corporate Website — the pages used to learn about Techfind, view our services and solutions, read our resources, and get in touch with us.

It does not govern the separate services Techfind provides to clients under a signed engagement. Where Techfind builds or runs systems for a client, the handling of that client's data is governed by the relevant Client Terms, Statement of Work and data-processing arrangements, not by this Website policy.

Information you choose to give us

The Website itself does not contain sign-up or lead-capture forms. You share personal information with us only when you choose to contact us — for example, by messaging us on WhatsApp or sending us an email. Depending on what you send, this may include:

  • your name;
  • your business or company name;
  • your phone number;
  • your email address;
  • the services or solutions you are interested in;
  • your enquiry, message or the details of a demonstration you request;
  • any other information you decide to include when you contact us.

Please share only what is necessary for your enquiry. We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information to make an enquiry.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, when you visit, our hosting and infrastructure provider processes standard technical information in server logs so that the Website can be delivered and kept secure. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you.

Importantly: this Website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising trackers, or any analytics or tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of your browsing, and we do not track you across other websites. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Contacting us through WhatsApp

The Website provides buttons that let you contact us through WhatsApp. WhatsApp is an independent platform operated by Meta — Techfind does not own or control it.

When you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your interaction also involves WhatsApp and Meta, and their own terms and privacy practices apply to that platform. Techfind receives the information you choose to send us in the chat and uses it to respond to your enquiry and to manage our relationship with you as a prospective or existing client.

Why we process your information

We process the information above for legitimate business purposes, including to:

  • respond to your enquiries and questions;
  • arrange demonstrations and provide information you request;
  • communicate with you as a prospective or existing client;
  • keep the Website secure and prevent fraud, abuse and misuse;
  • understand and improve the performance and reliability of the Website;
  • maintain reasonable business records; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We do not add you to any marketing list simply because you contacted us or requested information. Where we send marketing communications and your consent is required, that consent is separate, optional and never assumed.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, and only as needed for that purpose, including:

  • our website hosting and cloud infrastructure provider (currently Vercel);
  • our email provider (currently Zoho Mail);
  • the messaging platform you choose to use to reach us (currently WhatsApp / Meta);
  • our professional advisers where reasonably necessary.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.

International processing

Some of our service providers operate global infrastructure, which means your information may be processed on servers located outside Kenya. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information continues to be handled with an appropriate level of protection, consistent with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, to answer your enquiry, follow up appropriately, and keep reasonable business records — and to meet legal, security or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. We do not retain information indefinitely without a reason.

Your privacy rights

Subject to the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have rights over your personal information, which may include the right to:

  • be informed about how we use your information;
  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information, where applicable;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
  • withdraw your consent, where we rely on it; and
  • lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

How we protect information

We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not claim that ours is “100% secure”, “hack-proof” or immune to every risk. You can read more about our approach on our Security & Data Protection page.

Children

The Website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Website or to legal requirements. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
